    Dipper Dan was recommended to us by our tour guide at the Consolidated Gold Mine.  We struck gold for sure. Great burgers & crispy Krinkle cut fries, friendly service from the sweet ladies working there. The sweet tea has won multiple awards (they are displayed on the wall), and it deserves all of them and more!

    I was on my lunch break and looking for a good cheap meal, so went in and realized just how popular it is with the locals. Dipper Dan is a hole-in-the-wall restaurant with no-frills, but the food is both good and cheap.

    I ordered a cheeseburger (added lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes for $0.35 each) and fries. Both were pretty decent and definitely worth the only $5 and some change price. The staff were pretty busy getting everyone through, but were friendly and got the orders out at a good speed. If you're looking for a local and down-to-earth place and want a good value, I definitely recomend giving it a try.

    Not a bad spot for a cheap burger, hot dog, and fries. Now in terms of taste to value, you get a lot of taste for the price. I mean, a burger and fries for under $5. Unheard of unless you're at one of the giant fast food chains.

    I don't get some of the reviews claiming this to be one of the best burgers ever. It definitely is not that. I've had greasy spoon burgers that are out of this world. I had mine done the default way -- ketchup, mustard, and coleslaw. If you want tomatoes, onions, and lettuce, that's extra.

    This place is fantastic. Locals fill Dipper Dan with laughter and camaraderie you just don't find everywhere. Seems like everyone knows everyone and they're happy to welcome you to their town. The service is just what you expect in a down to earth southern joint...Where the sweetness of the ladies serving you is only outdone by the best sweet tea you will find in GA. The burger and fries are outstanding which was exactly what I expected. Give it a try. You'll love it
